Santar is an old Portuguese parish in the municipality of Nelas, with an area of 12.47 km² and 1 042 inhabitants (2011). Its population density was 83.6 inhabitants/km².
It was extinguished (aggregated), and its territory integrated into the Union of Parishes of Santar and Moreira.

CASA DE SANTAR 

Casa de Santar, a manor house from the 17th and 18th centuries, is surrounded by hedgerow and boxwood gardens.

Inside Cozinha Velha there is a natural spring water source, in granite, with a niche and a large stone fireplace. Worth mentioning are the wine cellar and the Coach Room. Dão wine producer.

Visits at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, by appointment, except Sunday and Monday
